Abstract:
Literature review of sensitivity analysis methods and applications is presented in the paper. Sensitivity analysis is applied to the problems of input data and model parameters uncertainty and to model validation. Definition of structures, initial and boundary conditions, and model testing: calibration, determination of independent variables, is discussed. The algorithm of the sensitivity analysis dedicated to the direct problem of the inverse analysis for identification of material parameters was developed in the second part of the work. Sensitivity analysis of the material flow in the ring compression test with respect to the friction coefficient is described as an example.
